Forestry Harvesting

Forestry requires the right approach to the care and restoration of trees. In particular, excessive methods of harvesting timber can lead to catastrophic consequences for agriculture and the environment. At the same time, if the state of the forest is not controlled, the effects can also be highly damaging.

The Forestry Company is committed and focused on ensuring that the final crop reaches its full potential, through vital thinning at pertinent moments during its lifetime. Giving space to the final crop trees allows them to increase in size, delivering a high percentage of valuable saw log at felling stage.

Harvesting operations may involve the felling of selected trees, the removal of branches, cross-cutting of stems into size categories, stacking along tracks in the forest and extraction to roadside.
